About MisterWhy Rewards

MisterWhy Rewards is a customer loyalty and promotional marketing platform operated by MisterWhy Enterprises LLC (https://misterwhy.co). We provide retail stores with an in-store digital kiosk that enables them to collect customer phone numbers and send promotional offers via SMS. MisterWhy Enterprises LLC is the platform provider; the individual retail stores are the senders of promotional messages.

1. Information We Collect

We collect phone numbers from customers at the point of sale through our in-store digital kiosk. Customers voluntarily enter their phone number and are shown the following disclosure before submitting:

“By entering your number, you agree to receive promotional texts from this store. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”

No phone number is collected without the customer first seeing and acting upon this consent disclosure. Consent is required before any number is recorded. See our SMS Opt-In Process page for a full description of how consent is obtained.

2. How We Use Your Information

Phone numbers collected through the MisterWhy platform are used solely to send promotional SMS messages on behalf of the retail store where the customer provided consent. We do not use your phone number for any other purpose, and we do not send messages on behalf of any other store or business.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your phone number is accessible only to the retail store that collected it through the MisterWhy platform and to MisterWhy Enterprises LLC as the platform operator.

We use Twilio as our SMS delivery provider. Phone numbers are transmitted to Twilio solely to facilitate message delivery and are subject to Twilio's privacy policy.

4. SMS Messaging — Opt-In & Opt-Out

By voluntarily entering your phone number on the MisterWhy kiosk, you consent to receive promotional SMS text messages from the store at that location. Message frequency varies by store. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
  • Reply HELP for help or contact support@misterwhy.com.
  • Only customers who voluntarily enter their phone number on the in-store kiosk receive messages.

5. Data Security

We store all data securely using industry-standard practices. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel and the retail store that collected it. We do not retain phone numbers longer than necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
